28^th Avenue Homes Ltd. offers Home Share services in Vernon for individuals that are eligible for funding from Community Living British Columbia.

Home share provides an alternative to staffed residential homes for adults living with developmental disabilities. Individuals who are supported in the Home Share Program are matched with qualified and screened caregivers, who provide ongoing support in all aspects of the individual’s life.

Home Sharing is a service that supports and assists adults with developmental disabilities to live in a “home” environment that will address their personalized needs and desires. Each home sharing situation is specifically tailored to the individual and their specific needs.

The home may be with a single individual, couple or family, depending on the needs of the individual.
